High vowels - the
position of tongue is close to the roof of mouth.

position of tongue is far away from the roof of mouth.

position of tongue is between high and low vowels’ position.

Rounded vowels - the
position of of lips is pulled in.

position of lips between rounded and unrounded position.

Delete/ɔ/, spelt ⟨o⟩, as in dog, god
/ɔː/, often spelt ⟨oa⟩, or ⟨o⟩ before consonant+vowel or certain consonant pairs, as in boat, whole, old
