Narative Paragraph


Kinds of paragraph:

1.       Expository paragraph
2.       Narrative paragraph
3.       Persuative paragraph

Let’s talk about narrative,
Narrative paragraph tell a story. Usually, you write a narrative to share an important event. The detail in the paragraph should answer the 5 w and h question.

WHO? WHAT? WHEN? WHERE? WHY? HOW?

Narrative paragraph contained 3 part; topic sentence, body of paragraph, and last sentence.
Look at the following example of a narrative paragraph!


Discovering Solitudetitle
                Last Saturday morning i discovered a new best friend, me.topic sentece I have always hated being alone. I am a real poeple person. I also like to sleep lay whenever i can. But for some reason, i woke up at 5 o’clock last Saturday morning. I try and i tried to go back sleep. Finally i gave up. I got out and went to the kitchen. I made myself a cup of cocoa. Then i went out to our back home. Eventhough it was summer, the morning was cool. I sat down on the steps. The sun was coming out. The sky turned from blue to orange to pink. I have never noticed just how clear the color of sunrise could be. The changed right before my eyes. The changing colors reminded me of the kaleidoscope i’d had as a child. A slight breeze lifted my hair off my neck. I could smell the honey suckle flower from the garden fence in the slight wind. The birds began to sing as the sky grew lighter. As i watched the world come to life . i felt at peace. I thought of all good things in my life. I thought of all my good friends and my wonderful family. For the first time in my life, i was happy being alone. I wasn’t bored. Instead, i felt refreshed as if i’d just had another nap.body of paragraph I gained a new appreciation for my self.last sentence


 The answer of task;

WHO? I, Me, Myself, the writer.

WHAT? Its about the writer’s experience to discover happiness in alonely time.

WHEN? In a summer, at saturday morning when sun will being rising.

WHERE? On the steps, back of the writer’s home.

WHY? The writer gave up to close his/her eyes after woke up at 5 o’clock

HOW? The writer sat down in the steps and thought about good things, good friends and family. Its the right time for him/her to feel all of peace. And he/she discovered a new best friend in his/her self.
